Cultural Activities

We’ll start early Monday morning with a breakfast at the European Institute for Entrepreneurship and from there we’ll dive right into the Welcome and Keynote address. We’ll spend the day discussing the cultural and political differences between entrepreneur ecosystems as well as share best practices from Europe and abroad.

In the late afternoon we’ll hop on a bus to Segovia, an ancient city located in the community of Castillo y Leon. In this thousand-year-old city, we will find ourselves among one of the most famous Roman aqueducts in the world, el acueducto de Segoviaas well as the magnificent castle, Alcázar. While in Segovia we’ll try their star dish –  cochinillo asado – roasted suckling pig. From there we’ll move on to El Escorial where we’ll spend the remainder of the summit.

Waking up in El Escorial in Euroforum in Finca Felipe II with a view of San Lorenzo we’ll have a dynamic banquet breakfast with an invited speaker. From there we’ll begin to discuss the future of European funding of entrepreneurship. Following the panel we’ll take a walking tour through El Escorial, ending in the very Monastery where Phillip II met with countless historical figures. Here we will not only finish our tour but hold the last panel of the conference. Lastly, we’ll move onto our final meal and closing remarks.
